WIP of the Phantom Titan.
WIP of the Phantom Titan. I used Tamiya smoke for the dark shading, then airbrushed Temple Guard Blue to soften the Tamiya smoke.
Legs were then masked and a mix of Tamiya Flat White and German Grey is sprayed on the kneepads. Followed up by Flat White as a shade.

What are Tamiya smokes? Are they powders or washes?
ReplyDeleteTamiya smoke is a black transparent paint. As described above, I used it for shading. The effect will be glossy, but airbrushing a coat of paint to soften the black shade matts it.
